I too have been having the alert pop up every single time the tool checks. This is not so annoying in and of itself... It is the alert sound that is driving me batty. I leave my computer on at night and often have music playing while I fall asleep. Then, as I am nodding off, "ALERT! ALERT!".
I've gone into my sound control and muted the Neopets Assistant sound, but that doesn't seem to work. The only thing that stops it is to mute ALL system sound, which is not very helpful when I want to listen to music!
Could you do a version of your tool with no sound? or at least add functionality to leave the alerts on with no sound?
